Your Enchanted Florist History

Your Enchanted Florist began as a floral studio in 2002, before expanding into its current retail location in the North End/Como neighborhood of St. Paul in 2011, serving loyal and growing clientele throughout the Twin Cities metro area.

The very foundation of Your Enchanted Florist was built upon focused care and attention to customers’ needs and the devotion to creative expression. Flowers are an ephemeral gift that create memories that last a lifetime. They have the power to bring peace, beauty, joy, and comfort. Lynne formed her business with the purpose of sharing that appreciation of nature and art, and to communicate clients’ emotions and thoughts into physical representation through the medium of flowers.”

Your Enchanted Florist Mission

Flowers are our passion – when you visit our shop, you’ll see it on our faces, feel it in the air, and witness it in our carefully constructed arrangements.

T

Meet T – Owner and Lead Floral Artist at Your Enchanted Florist
T (Thazin) has been a passionate florist for over 20 years, creating floral arrangements that speak the language of beauty and emotion. In 2022, she and her family moved to the United States from Burma (Myanmar) as refugees, bringing with them a deep resilience and a love for creativity. T is the proud mother of an 8-year-old son affectionately known as "Little T," and wife to Steve, an award-winning documentary filmmaker and photographer. Her journey in the U.S. floral world began under the guidance of Lynne, from whom she learned the art of floral design for more than a year. In April 2025, T took the next big step—she purchased the beloved Your Enchanted Florist from Lynne and is now the new owner and lead floral artist. T brings her unique artistic vision and heartfelt dedication to every bouquet she creates, continuing the shop's legacy while weaving in her own story of hope and renewal.

Steve

Meet Steve – a dedicated documentary filmmaker and photographer with a deep passion for storytelling and human rights. His powerful films have earned awards at film festivals across Asia and Europe. Steve is also the founder of Myanmar’s first underground human rights film festival, a bold initiative that gave voice to untold stories in a time of repression.
In addition to his work in film, Steve has long been involved in various human rights movements in his home country. Following the military coup in Myanmar, Steve and his family were forced to flee for their safety, eventually seeking refuge in Thailand. In 2022, through the United Nations resettlement program, they arrived in the United States to begin a new chapter.
Steve’s commitment to filmmaking remains strong. Since resettling in the Twin Cities, he has created new short documentaries, which have been screened at several local film festivals. In 2024, he held his first solo photo exhibition at XIA Gallery, showcasing his visual storytelling through a new lens.
Beyond film and photography, Steve has recently developed a keen interest in the art of Ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of flower arrangement, which he is now actively studying with great enthusiasm.
